Whirlpool built APDW/2 Circ Pump ?

As a newbie to dw repairs can I get some confirmation that this needs a new main pump, m/c fills but water is not circulating & the askoll pump sounds like it’s chattering but that’s all.
Also where can I get a price for this pump, I’m sure it’s made by Whirpool but It’s badged as program 2000 ?

sounds like the pump is shot, the new one may be a conversion to a more normal capacitor start type. If it is a Whirlpool it will have a service number on the rating plate starts with 85……..

I’m fitting the new pump to this next week, do I need any tips or is it really very simple ❓

suck out all the water. lay it on its back and remove the base plate.
it’s really obvious what to do when you see it. i personally use a suitable good quality cable tie for the hoses. never had one leak or fail.
finally keep the impellor housing from the old pump. i promise you will be able to use it in future.
