    I have a Whirlpool built in oven (type: FCSM6, model: 700 656 15)
something has blown inside it, and it no longer works: is this simply a part that can be replaced?

the oven was on, and then it simply made a popping noise…

    can anyone help?

I would start by having a look at the oven element. This is behind the cover on the back of the oven cavity and is retained by a few screws.

    Good info HERE.

Stay safe, power off if you are going to do this yourself.
