    Hi

Whirlpool ADP5966 dishwasher making a hell of a racket today. Slight “burning smell” also detected. Believe this may be caused by faulty bearings in circulation pump.

I am just about to order a replacement pump and would like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how to replace it. It it doesn’t fix the problem then looks like I’m off to buy a new one!!javascript:emoticon(‘’) Crying or Very sad

    Any help / guidance appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ronnie

Patience is the secret……. Put the machine flat on its back and remove the undertray, pretty obvious from there – three clips, couple of hoses and a connector.

    Power off, of course.

P/no for the pump is 4812 361 58336 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one for you at a rather better price than whatever on-line spares site you may have been looking at.

Thanks. Prices seem to vary from £165 – £85

    Can you source cheaper?
