All dryer functions ok, no blockages.

Thermal fuse on fan cover box has a thermal fuse 91 degrees C,(part number 481925228115)which keeps going open circuit, it is the non resetable type.
Does anyone have any ideas why this TOC should keep doing this.

had one that went open circuit found out there was a blockage in the fan chamber

The main thermostat operates at about 65C(150F)so I would suspect this is the problem 481928248311.

Blockages usually blow the non resettable stat on the heater box.

There’s usually a notice down there somewhere stuck to the cabinet saying something about what to replace when. Easy to not read it if you’re not looking for it.

replaced one of these yesterday , fairly straight forward plenty of access , the fan chamber wasnt blocked but there was a thick layer of fluff on the surface which in theory could get hotter than normal , im sure we’ve all seen the singed fluff in the heater cover on the domestic stuff
