whirlpool commercial dryer

been to above machine model 3rleq8000kq1 which is no-go,
power through timer and on/off push switch + door switch ok
anybody got any ideas please

Bottom of machine, just behind the ducting at the front there’s a thermal fuse (481925228115 , although most likely superseded by now). Check that out.
As far as I remember there isn’t an inline fuse in the control panel of the dryers, only the washing machines.

you were right brian
but next to it there is a thermostat and i can only get a circuit through 2 of the 4 wires
any idea of a part number for that please

Part number is 481928248311. Again, this may be superseded to a new number.

The thermostat you are looking at should show continuity through the large connections and the smaller connections should read approx 28K.
This is a heating resistance which comes on when the low temp option is switched on and makes the thermostat operate at a lower heat.
