    Re: whirlpool cooker

Put main oven knob into OFF position, press small middle button 3 times till display flashes at b/r corner, turn r/h knob to set time then press small middle button to confirm.

    Oven should now work.

    Re: whirlpool cooker

If you have the main oven knob switched to off and the centre button is working correctly then it will probably be the main pcb.

    Re: whirlpool cooker

I’ve got the exact same problem with one.
Won’t reset, checked oven selector is OFF.
Push button is definitely working – checked continuity between pins with it depressed.
    Must be the board, then.

    Q. When you say the “main pcb”, do you mean the power board (481931039791) or the pcb with the two rotary switches on it (481921478693)?

    Thanks,
    Pigpen.

    Re: whirlpool cooker

As petalpop said it will be the power board, look at this post here as you may be able to repair the old board.

    Re: whirlpool cooker

Had one that I have been to a few times – replaced button and worked for a couple of months. Customer stated that if she turned the power off she would have trouble getting it to work again. Called back in march and removed board cleaned contacts on board – pinched connectors and has worked fine ever since
