Whirlpool creations AWZ 121 tumble dryer

Hi
Can anyone let me know the correct operating cycle for the above machine. As I appear to have an intermittent fault near the end of the cycle. Sometimes when the door is opened after finishing the air is still very hot as if the heater is still on!!
The trouble is, I can’t remember if the drum should be revolving all the time during the last 10 mins of the cycle.
I don’t wish to run it through the cycle having read previous reports on fires!!
Has anyone else come up against this problem on these dryers.

Ray,

Your dryer should finish the last 10 minutes ‘cool down’ still tumbling as normal but with the heating element switched off.

If it doesn’t do that then possibly the Timer is at fault??
