    Customer has a Whirlpool Integrated D/W ADG 7540/i (8542 540 15810)
No voltage gatting to heater on heating phases of pgm

    Other data:
Is completing all pgms OK (but cold)
Heater ele is ok on megger and not O/C
Water levels and agitation seem OK
    Wash motor running OK
    Pumpout OK

Would be grateful for advice. Looks like a choice between changing stat (or NTC of thermistor or whatever it has) or the control PCB. Not inspected the PCB for blown tracks, as it is a bitch to get the plastic casing off! Obviously W’Pool don’t intend you to inspect or repair it.

I would appreciate any advice, also any schematics and manual, with any test routines.

    Cheers

    Thanks. Good thread.
Maybe a sad question, but where is the NTC to be found?

Sticking up in a provocative manner in the floor of the sump under the filters.

    😀

    Twas the NTC indeedo.

    Old one measured 5.5K
New one measured 42K. (Should have been above 50K but I had it in my pocket!)

Curious how they just change values like that, but the earlier thread (see above, thanks Spanner) was spot on.

Customer happy, engineer happy (me), UKW wins again!
