Initial complaint of being unable to start, lights flicking on and off etc.
I switched on and at first it seemed to start OK but if I put even the slightest pressure on the facia some of the lights went out, sometimes the ones on the left sometimes on the right. The machine did start a programme and go into wash.
I opened up the console and tightened all of the wiring connections and tried it again. Now all I can get is the start light on intermittently, the machine will not reset if I hold the start button in but continues to wash away merrily. It will turn off with the selector knob and also turning this knob causes the start light to flicker on and off occasionally.
I am leaning towards a faulty right hand facia PCB.
Anyone encountered this fault before?
