    12nc.851144015869, fully integrated.

Fitted a new main circulation pump a few weeks back. Got a call back the following day for a leak. told me it was leaking before but they forgot to mention it. :rolls:

Had the machine running and found the leak dripping from near the front edge just under the door area.

Checked the lower edge seal and it was very badly swollen and out of shape, also severely crudded up with detritus.

Fitted new lower door seal and tested OK.

All fine for two weeks then she phones back to say it has leaked quite badly after working fine for 8 or 9 washes.

Called back this morning and ran it for 30 mins+, no sign of a leak anywhere.

I did admonish her on my second visit for the manky state of the innards and lower seal, advised proper rinsing of dishes before loading etc.

At the moment I can only assume an oversoaping problem, either due to the 5 in 1 tablets or possibly large residues of Fairy liquid left on the dishes after rinsing, she admits to using Fairy on them first.

One thing I do find very strange, I can see no sign of an overflow protection float system on this machine, should it have one or was it left off this model?

    Jim.

When they started using the Askoll wash pump with the electrical connection on the bottom they didn’t need flood protection.
When the water level reaches the pump it blows the module and prevents flood.

    Simples 😆
