Switch on, select any programme, pressing the start button doesn’t always work.It seems to take ages and countless presses before the indicator light comes on. If you hold it down to try and reset you can occasionally get it to do just a single beep but then you can press it as often as you like but get no response.
If you close the door on any programme the pump runs for about a minute then the machine stops dead, no beeps, no flashing lights, nothing.
I did manage to remove the lower front plinth and peer inside, base is dry.
Can’t drag it out ATM until some floor tiles are removed.
Any suggestion before I return would be most welcome.

Hi Jim
Sounds like a faulty board. The pump running for a minute and then stopping is the d/w resetting. Will it start a test program? (keep finger on start button while you power up until the light starts to flash then press once and close th e door). Had a few like this where it realy wont select a prog but will just do test cycle. It’s like the board locks out for some reason. If your lucky it will do the test cycle and be fine but more often you have to change the pcb.

No it won’t go into test mode, the start button seems very unresponsive altogether, most of the time it has no effect on anything, I did suspect the board. 🙁
