Whirlpool dishwasher

ADG7640 SERVICE TAG 854244015820

Machine fitted with the askoll type wash pump.The hose to the sump from this motor has ruptured but appears to be part of the motor pump cover.This motor is not supplied now in favour of the earlier motor type.How can i resolve the replacement of this pipe…cut it off and fit the standard hose or what???

i had the same problem and had to fit a complete motor where now the hose is seperate. not cost efficitive.

Winker, I;m quite sure that I’ve got a spare hose. I replaced an old style motor in a WP DW after the impellor broke off. I remember reading on this forum that you should keep the hose as they’re not available seperately. If fI remeber the hose is attached to some house that clips/screws onto the wash motor.

PM me and I’ve got to be in tomorrow PM so I’ll have a bit of time to have a look for it. It’s somewhere in our very cluttered garage…I’m possitive.

Its the chronic vibration from the arsekol wot goes for the hose.. fit new motor, if a jobs worth doing and all that.. 😉
