Check the grid on the water level s/w on the r/h side of the sump, May be crudded up and operating before the motor kicks in.

If the original was humming then the pump supply should be ok…which leaves either a wire not connected properly somewhere or you may even have a faulty new pump…have you tried metering it?

has anybody seen the latest incarnation of the plaset pump? the water heater is housed in the impellor cover. why o why have they started fitting this crap after the hasstle with the first plaset pump. anyway i changed one for the good old cap start motor and it wouldn’t run either. however that new motor was o.k. cos i’ve just fitted it to an older machine and it works fine.

well this is how they make there money, cheep machines, cheep parts to make, expensive to repair there should be something that can be done about this. Appliances should have a 10 year life (with repairs) and not go buy new. T&^{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}s
