KeymasterI have a Whirlpool ADG 722 WH dishwasher that seems to have a problem.
It gets half way through its cycle and then just stops, with the light just flashing continously. Its not hot when it stops so obviously doesn’t get to that part of the cycle. Could this be a fault with the heater? where would I find a replacement? Many thanks for all your help,
Best Regards,
Russ

It’s unlikely to be the heater to be honest, they don’t have a high failure rate, but they do fail on occasion.
I would call an engineer if I were you otherwise you may be stabbing in the dark a bit and buying expensive parts which won’t resolve the problem..
Have a look in the directories section for an engineer in your area or pop your postcode here.

You need to count the number of flashes then post the result here. It should flash a number of times, pause, then repeat. Let us know how many flashes between pauses.

Nope, I thought it was as well as most of the models beginning with a 7 did, it’s the tube heater type with electronic control unit.

When the dishwasher stops, the green light flashes three times, then pauses then repeats. Does anyone have any idea what fault this is / how to fix it?
Many Thanks,
Russ

Hiya, 3 flashes indicates a problem in the heating cycle of the wash.
There are numerous things that can cause this, heater, thermostats, wiring and/or the module itself.
The most cost effective way to repair this would be to get someone in to have a look at it.DP
