Been called out this dishwasher. I placed the machine on the test program as per the Fault Code Guide. It went all the way through the test but came up with 4 flashes which is a drain problem. The machine had emptied ok. How does this machine sense the water level, or can anybody give me a clue what would cause this fault?

Black grid in sump covers a diaphragm switch and fills up with all sorts of muck and goo. It’s a twist fit from underneath – toothbrush and very hot water will usually clean it out.

Thanks for the reply, it sorted the problem. Wrote the cause in the book of codes for future reference.
