    We have been to the above Whirlpool dishwasher which displays the fault of 11 flashes on the facia.
    According to the fault diagnostics this is a fault with the optical water sensor?

    does anyone know how to correct this problem?
    any help greatly appreciated.

    Damn good clean sorted out the last one I went to – twist fit from the side of the sump.
