Participant😀 Hello all once again. First of all I wanted to say thankyou for your help I recieved re my Diplomat oven problem. It appears to be working just fine now. However I have a new problem. I help my girlfriend move house this weekend, and I plumbed in her dishwasher (Whirlpool ADP4501). I attached the water pipe to the attachment behind the sink (as normal), and attached the waste pipe to the connection also under the sink. We switched on the washer, I heared the sound of water entering the pipe 9which was getting colder), thenhoped for the washer to kick off. Unfortunaley that’s about as much use that we get out of it. After about two minutes of this, the start light just flashes and nothing else happens. I believe that the problem lies with the washer, as you can’t really go wrong with attaching the hoses, but the washer was stored in an outside garage for a good few months until we moved it, therefore could be faulty. Has anyone ever come across a similar problem and maybe lend some advice as to the solution?
Many thanks in advance and a happy Christmas to all
Ivor 😉

😀 Hi, apologies for the delay, took a while for my girlfriend to count the flashes 😀 😀
Ok I can now confirm that we get four flashes, then a break, then four flashes…..and so on..
Hope this helps
Thanks

4 flashes is no drop in water level detected in the time allowed. Blockage, sink spigot not opened when installed (always a good one, very embarassing), level switch gunged up.
Power off if investigating.

Many thanks
I think it must be a blockage somewhere for the water is flowing to the machine. Personally I think she should just buy a new one. Thanks again for your help. 😉
Merry Christmas and a Happy new year
Cheers
