Whirlpool Dishwasher G2P DWI/1 WH

Hi,

Just been out to a whirlpool dishwasher G2P DWI/1 WH and its continously beeping. I can reset the timer and restart and as soon as the door closes it starts to beep again. I’ve tried the test programme but it wont go past the door closure part like i say. The start button flashes once intermittantly. This says its the NTC but i’m not too sure. Last time i had anything like this the NTC fault only occured after the programme tried to heat for a few minutes not this soon.
I personally think its the user board but has anybody got any ideas before i order one.

Hi Nick

Go for the NTC, it’s cheaper than the board and it is a common problem with Whirlpool. The worst than can happen is that you gain one for stock 😉

Pt no 481228268035 check it though I may be wrong 😳

If it’s way out of spec then the fault will be detected before it starts washing.
With a lot of ntc faults you can’t run the diagnostics until it’s been changed.
