Whirlpool dishwasher making strange sounds

I have a whirlpool dishwasher, model – g2pdwi that has started making a whiring and cluncking type noise during the rinse xy2cle. When I start it up it drains any water as normal and then as it starts pumping water in and cleaning there’s a loud noise coming from somewhere near the bottom right hand side. Anyone got any idea of what it could Be?

Something stuck in the wash pump perhaps?

You’d need to open it up to find out.
