Whirlpool dishwasher model ADG7540/1

I dishwasher does not start any wash cycle and has the rinse cycle light permanently lit and the power light flashes continuously. there is no break in the flashing so I am assuming this is a single flash fault code. The forums suggest this is an NTC or Open circuit fault and should be replaced. Does this seem correct or does the continuous flash mean somethng else.

New to the site so any help would be much appreciated.

maybe a broken wire from the timer to NTC

if not broken pour some hot water in the diswasher about half a pan full and see if it clears . if yes you can change NTc and see if it help
