whirlpool dishwasher strange fault

ADP4501 switch on any program, drain pump runs as normal then inlet valve and pump pulse on and off continually at the same time.
can anyone shed any light before i try a new pcb.

Fitted new pcb this morning, stopped the fault but now lights up and nothing else. does the new board need programming or is this one faulty as well.

Hopefully Penguin will know the answer as it sounds like he has fitted a few.

there are a few different boards for this one. Post up the 12nc number and the part number you fitted and I will tell you if it is the right one.

You have the wrong board, the one you have is a blank and needs to be programmed by a SAM module

It also looks as if this blank board wont work in your machine even if it is programmed, there are 4 different version of this dishwasher, 3 of them take the blank board yours does not. Correct part number for the board is 481221838273
