Whirlpool Double Oven AKP950 lower oven fault

Hi everyone,

We recently bought a house and a used Whirlpool Double Oven AKP950 came with the sale. It has been a constant nightmare since.

When the lower oven goes on, after a period of time (differs each use) the timer will begin to buzz and not long after the oven will cut out and the LED timer will switch off. If we are using the top oven this is unaffected and it will carry on cooking. My fiancé isn’t sure if the timer buzzed when it has cut out with her, but in all the times it has cut on me, there has been a buzzing come from the timer.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? The oven will come on after a while of being inactive, but turning the cooker on and off does not help.

from the way you describe it sounds like something is overheating and resetting when it cools down
