    Hi,
    No drum motion when loaded; when empty very slow drum motion observed; fan housing is clear and no signs of rodent damage; any ideas please.
    Thanks,
    Conor!

    Just to add that the capacitor seems ok and the service number is 8575 330 15033;

    Probably something caught in the front drum support? Unhook the belt and see if it rotates freely by hand? (should be easy to turn) If not drag the drum out and check for obstructions. (they come apart pretty darn easy enough anyway.) 🙂

    Worn belt slipping also could be the problem. 😉

    Belt ok; no obstructions on rollers; BTW any guide available on checking motor windings etc.
