whirlpool dw adg 642/1 wont fill

hi, machine starts ok (pumps etc) when it starts to fill,the machine pulses ,light goes off ,power dies 😕 1/2 sec,then back on,continues for ever.when it powers up there is a squirt of water coming into machine, any help appreciated.

Might be the rectangular 1 or 1.5uF capacitor on the pcb. It causes lots of strange faults. Read Dave (electrofix) ‘s post in pcb repairs thread.
