    Hi

I have an (Ikea) Whirlpool DWF 406. It’s a few years old. It now refuses to start any program. It beeps and the start light flashes continuously. From what I’ve been able to glean from various forum posts, this seems to suggest an NTC fault.

So far I haven’t been able to find where the NTC is located on this model. Any clue as to where it is and what it looks like much appreciated. Also, is this an easy part to replace?

    Many thanks!!

NTC is the finger sticking up in the bottom of the sump. It’s a twist fit from underneath.

    This the part you want:

Power off before working on the machine.
