ParticipantHi! I was wondering (hoping) that anyone may have door fitting instructions for the Whirlpool DWF 415S. We have the dishwasher, parts, door … and not a clue how to attach them all!
Any help and suggestions will be gratefully received!!April 9, 2009 at 5:10 pm #282821spimps

ParticipantThanks for that advice. The dishwasher is an integrated Whirlpool DWF415S. The door panel I’m trying to attach is the IKEA door to fit the appliance. I contacted IKEA and whirlpool but they keep sending the instruction document. I’m just trying to attach the door panel so it matches the rest of the kitchen.
I hope this is clearer than my earlier post.April 9, 2009 at 8:13 pm #282823spimps

Hi, is this a semi integrated machine ie you can see the timer knob and on off switch above the wooden door.
there would be two plastic strips which are screwed to the wooden door and then the door is offered up and slides upwards to mate with slots in the metal door of the machine,it’s then locked in place with 4 screws.
First google for Whirlpool site they usually have downloads which should include the instructons to fit this door.April 9, 2009 at 11:25 pm #282824Penguin45

Just an off the cuff thing here but, for the Whirlpool, IKEA, Bauknecht and whatnot dishwasher is it these things that are the problem?
They seem to break a lot. :rolls:

ParticipantThanks everyone for your help. I did search the Whirlpool site and as I said, they just led to the operating instructions. You have all been 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} more helpful than them!
Your advice Spimps is spot on and makes complete sense, and yes Kwatt, it is those things! I have been trying to them without breaking them. At least I know I can get replacements if it goes wrong!
From what you say it looks as if the screws are on the inside of the door. I will arm myself with a tape measure and screwdriver over the weekend and let you know how I get on. -
