Quite a few possibilities, Bernie. If you hold the start button down for about 5 seconds, you will cancel the existing programme. If you then reset the programme and start it and the fault recurs, when the door is opened you should be able to observe the programme LEDs lit. Which ones are lit can help us with a diagnosis. If you imagine them as numbered 1 – 5 from the left, and let us know, we shoulf be ablle to narrow things down for you.

Hi Penguin
When I reset the programme led No 1 from the left lit (rinse Light). I reset the machine a couple of times and it has begun to work again. “
Before I got your advice I had undone and looked at the fittings on the inside and underneath a small black rubber flap valve mark no 28 fell out of the interior somwhere, as I did not see where it came from can you tell me where it is supposed to live.May 1, 2005 at 10:57 am #133451Penguin45

Ah, you must have the power Bernie……. The only flap I can think of off the top of my head is part of the top basket spray tube coupling? No doubt others will recall more.
