this is a new post as things have moved on…
has stopped, light flashes in series of 9 pulses. earlier comment i had was that this fault means unable to close valve but luckily valve is not open!
Has been suggested the PCB is probably faulty.2 questions:
1. I have removed the pcb and inspected but cannot see any obvious fault, is there any way of testing it (for an average DIY person with a test meter) before I buy a new one?
2. a) Is it possible there could be a fault with the valve solenoid i.e. ‘won’t open’ or b)would this be revealed by a different code?
