    Hi
I´ve had problems with my whirlpool dishwasher for a few months now and in the last few weeks it has just got worse. The machine is just over 2 years old and up to a couple of weeks ago I could run the machine for about half a cycle and then the machine stops and the alarm goes with the start button continuesly blinking. There is two other buttons on the machine that are constantly lit (red) and I don´t remember noticing if they´ve always been on. I´ve tried cleaning the filter, plugging out and back in the machine holding my finger down on the start button until it goes out and trying to restart a programme, but it ends up stopping within 10 minutes and the alarm sounds again….Is there anyone who can help me, where to look, how to gain access to panels, where they´re located etc. I´d be most grateful

I sounds to me like the heater is open circuit, this is accessed via the underneath panel, it is held on be 2 torq t15 screws, you may also need to remove the front kickplate panel this is the panel below the door.
if you require any spares i have found this site very good

Power off, before attempting any of the above…………

    Safety first please, MMM.

Constant flashing of the start lamp is generally indicative of a failure of the temperature sensor or “NTC probe”, which can be found HERE if required.
