I have the above which works fine, except that I noticed it was using the full container of rinseaid every time it washed. Then I noticed that when I filled the dispenser, closed the lid of the dispenser, and then lifted the door of the dishwasher, the rinseaid was running out and down the door from underneath the dispenser.
Any ideas? New dispenser? If so, is it a door off job?

That’s definitely an odd one……… Is there a gasket under the rinse aid cover? It should seal completely. Dispenser is about £45 plus VAT etc if required – some individual components are available.

Access requires the door outer panel to be removed.

    Stay safe, power off.

No I’ve never seen a blue disc, and we’ve had this machine for 6 years.
Anyway, I don’t want to have to strip this door twice if I can, and I don’t want to buy a new dispenser if not required. So do you know if on the back of the rinseaid dispenser, there are any pipes or seals that could easily have become detached, and it’s just a case of stripping the door and effecting a repair, or is it something more serious (like the dispenser is split) and it’s a definate new dispenser job.
    Thanks, Andy

The dispenser may be leaking for a number of reasons. We have mentioned that there should be a sealing gasket under the dispenser cover. If the dispenser is not visibly cracked from the front, you have no choice but to inspect it from the inner side of the door. There will be a large streak down the inside of the panel if it has split.

Can’t tell you much more, really. Mind the edges of the door panel – you can shave with them and make sure the power is off.
