Whirlpool DWF416 – beeping and 7 flashes

I hope someone can help me!
Whenever I use my Whirlpool DWF416 (Ikea) dishwasher it seems to startup okay, but after about 1 minute it begins beeping at a rate of 1 beep/second. Looking at the Start LED, it now flashes 7 times, then pauses. This sequence is then repeated continuously.

I haven’t a clue what the problem could be. Has anyobne seen this problem before??
