Whirlpool DWF416W Problem

I would appreciate any help with the following problem:-
1) green start LED on.
2) shut door – motor starts, no water coming in, beeping.
3) after 30 secs, motor stops, beeping continues.
4) open door, beeping stops.

Then – press stat for more than 3 secs
5) shut door
6) motor starts, no beeping, no water
7) after 4 mins exactly beeping starts, motor still running.
8) open door, start LED flashing, beeping stops.

I managed to get a copy of a test procedure but can’t seem to get this to work as none of the LEDs light up to give the fault indication.

First of all, a temperature sensor fault can prevent the test cycle operating so that’s worth a look….other than that check the usual suspects like the flow meter/connections.

If they don’t sort it then it’s prolly the pcb itself.

Thanks Clive, I’ll have a look. The problem started after I opened the door towards the end of a cycle but before it had finished and then closed it again. But I can’t see that this should have done anything.
