Whirlpool DWF416W wont stop rinsing

The dishwasher would still be rinsing until the new year if i left it alone, so i had to switch off the plug.
There are no error lights, but the control does not change programs and the start button wont go off.
Ive switched it off but its still the same. Is there a reset , and how can i do it?

Pressing and holding the start button for a few seconds is the “reset” but it rarely works as there is normally an underlying fault.

Try it, if it doesn’t work then it’s engineer time to be honest.

Cheers for that…. i tried it and it doesnt work.
I used to fix electronic equipment and design it for a living.
Is there a battery or cmos ram to reset ?
Where is the control board… i can have a look.
I dont seem to have any info or be able to get it of the net.

Nope, no battery or cmos reset.

PCB is underneath 😉
