    Hi

I have the above dishwasher from Ikea and over the last twelve months the switch has become increasingly temperamental. We have had to press the control button harder and harder in order to get the programs to cycle through and indeed to start the machine working.
Now, the machine will not response to button presses at all. I have taken the PCB out and the microswitch appears to be broken as well as being loose on the circuit board.
Does anyone know if I need to change the whole PCB or is it possible to order a replacement microswitch. Where can I order one of these from?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Russ.

    Replacement pcb is p/no 4812 905 08141 – about £130, plus VAT, P&P etc.

I would investigate the likes of Radio Spares or Maplins and see if the switch itself can be had – then it’s five minutes with a soldering iron to sort out.

spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you a pcb if you choose to go that route.

    Hi Penguin

Thanks for the swift reply… I don’t work too far from a Maplins so I think I’ll try there before shelling out on the £130.
