Whirlpool DWFB10 stopping with beeps and 4 x LED flash

Hi there,

I have a Whirlpool DWFB10 dishwasher which was purchased with an Ikea kitchen. It’s worked for a year, but just recently is stopping half way through the 40 degree Rapid cycle. When it stops, it has a beep that goes on and off constantly until you open the door. The door panel control (the diamond shape with a ! in) flashes 4 times. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong?

that will be an ‘F4’ – draining failure

does the appliance drain out fully?

If no – check filters + drain hose (also if conected to sink the spiggot) for blockages & kinks

If yes, could be the level sensor jammed up with grease (happens ifyou use the cooler washes a lot). Try pouring some hot (70 deg) water into the base – but not too much, only 1 inch over the filter!

if neither works – call an engineer!
