Whirlpool Fault code – FP

Hello, have a Whirpool 1200 AW03571 and couldn’t find anything using the search button

Basically towards the end of any cycle the machine will stop and flash FP (Clean pump, draining fault)

I have removed and cleaned the filter (would a new one make a difference?)

And also removed the black pipe from the bottom of the drum, which there was a plastic ball sat?!? I assume this shouldn’t be here so I removed it?

Anyway I poured water through the drum which came down and out through where the filter sits….

Is there anything else to test or ami doing the right things to fix this?

I rent the property so would rather fix this quickly (Unless it needs a new pump?) than have to get in touch with landlords etc who live over an hour away!

Put the “plastic ball” back in.It is supposed to be there

Ok I have just put the ball back in! Any ideas on what this can be?

To be honest you are better off calling your landlord.It could be a failed pump or a blocked pump.Not wishing to be unkind but if the machine is not yours and i personally would not mess with it.

You could always check the coupling to the sink spigot (if appropriate).
