ParticipantHi there,
Cup Final looming – dishwater still not working! Have read posts and went for the NCT (even though existing NCT seemed to read about right on kohms) but has not fixed it 🙁 – any other suggestions please?
Whirlpool ADG937 8542 937 15310 (a built in 1 pre wash and 2 wash programme machine)
Continuous Flashing Satrt light (no pattern regular 2/second) and beeping. On a Pre- wash cycle ir seems to go through ok except when its finished emptying at end after about 12mins it gives above error.
On 50deg Wash cycle goes as follows:-
oomins: pump goes and then fills ok
02mins: hear soap dispenser click open
10mins: checked water Hot, arms spinning by opening door ok
16mins: empties again ok
20mins: has refilled again ok
26mins: starts pumping out again ok
29mins: Error on finishing pumping out!!I started by cleaning all filters, filled salt, and rinse aid (rinse aid dispenser was pretty clogged up though when washing through the two holes you can see).
Any help please? (must go and watch WOrld Cup Final now though!)
Many thanks
Tony 😕

Hve you tried cleaning Water Indicator, found usually 3 o clock position in sump when filters removed. Its usually round and black with criss cross grill app 2inch diameter. When cleaning be careful not to puncture membrane beyond grill.
Hope that helps

What a job that was!! 😡 – when I looked with mirror and torch it was pretty gunky behind the grill – toothbrush didn’t reach it, proding (gently)didn’t help, couldn’t see easy way to get black plastic grill off (which is pretty deep), so resorted to hydraulic action .. a water bottle full of warm water and squeezing it as hard as I could – slowly it cleared after a good half hour of effort- but it appears to have worked 😮 ! 🙂 !
I’ve just completed the rinse cycle with no errors – now trying a full wash and will report back.
Is there a way of getting that black water indicator grill off though to make it easier or chemical way of de-gunking?
Yours thankfully, (and with fingers crossed and the cleanest filters in the UK)

Nice one Tony
If you give your plates a quick rinse under tap before loading you shouldn’t get that problem again 😀Greg

😀 Success! Wash cycle completed with no errors.
I guess water was not draining out from behind that grill where water level indicator was, so it thought (if machines do think?) that it still had water and hadn’t pumped it all out when it had. Many thanks again,
