Whirlpool Fridge ok Freezer not cold enough

Hi, my Whirlpool Fridge/Freezer is about 4 years old.

Since I cleared all the ice from the various “elements” under the grill at the top I’ve noticed it’s not getting cold enough. The Fridge is fine btw.

I’ve had to put the setting onto Max Cold to be any use and this is making the fridge too cold.

The temperature at the top of the freezer is around -12 C but at the bottom only -2 C

I’m often having to use the “fast freeze” setting.

Also I’ve noticed that the unit is quieter and I’ve not noticed any fans working at all.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Hi, this is just a bump as there have been no replies. Help, my wife is going to be insisting on a replacement if I can’t fix it.

As mentioned, the fridge is fine but the freezer is -10 at the top and -2 at the bottom. I recently did a complete defrost but still too warm.
