Whirlpool frost free u/freezer AFG3680

Problem is the audible alarm will not cancel. Freezer is down to temp. & working perfectly but even when alarm cancel button is pressed this only works for about 5 mins then it goes off again.I have changed the pcb ( no difference) and then the sensor to no avail. Anyone come across this.

Is the alarm indicating low temperature or another fault though (fault code possible) such as an o/c thermal fuse/heater ?

I can email a wiring diagram over if will be any help.

Thanks for reply Dave. The freezer doesn’t show fault codes.The alarm is sounding from start up all the way through to reaching correct temp and then continuing (apart from when it is cancelled by the button for about 5 mins.) Whenever I have fitted boards to these in the past the audible alrm doesn’t sound when it is reaching temp.
