    Hi all,
I have searched to see if I can find the answer first, but am unsure if any previous responses cover my problem exactly.
My Whirlpool FRSS2VAF20 is leaking profusely from the bottom (I have turned the water off now and it has stopped) I think it is coming from a downward facing pipe in the back, and the alarm keeps on going off. The freezer lights are flashing dashes. Also the fridge is warmer than it should be, but is showing no alarms.
From what I have read here this sounds like the PCB is broken and maybe the capacitors need changing, but will this cure the leaking water problem, and the fridge being too warm?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Have I put this in the wrong forum?
    Thanks.

    Hi Mathew,

You have two seperate faults here by the sounds of it. Leaks on the water pipe are ususaly caused by a hose connector not fitted correctly at the bottom of the freezer door or a bad connection at the filter body ( if this model has a water filter ), easy way to find out for sure is to take off the grille below the doors and inspect these joints.

The dashes in the display tell you that the freezer is not down to the correct temperature and it could be one of a many problems casuing this which are all covered well in this threadHERE

    John
