    Hi
Can any one help? I have a Whirlpool G2p DWI/I Wh dishwasher that has gone faulty. When any program is started it first drains, then starts to fill, part way through filling it starts to beep (with six flashes), some times if the inlet tap is lowered a few times while filling it will start the washing cycle, but then starts beeping later in the cycle, I have read on another post (for a different model whirlpool) that this may be down to a faulty pressure switch, if so can this be cleaned/replaced. Also can any explain where it is located? Or is there any diagrams posted anywhere on the net, that I can check out. Thanks in advance
    Neil

    Should be what you want.

Power off if you have to remove it.

    Hi Penguin45
I took diaphragm sensor out and cleaned, at first it was sticking, but when cleaned seemed to operate ok, it also checked out ok with meter, put switch back in, was then getting F7, which reading another post related to flow sensor, so took out flow sensor cleaned contacts again checked with meter ok, (could not believe that this is just a reed switch soldered to pcb, if faulty would be easy job of replacing with one from RS for around a pound instead of £63). Put back together and hey presto, it was working, just be on safe side I didn’t put back in (built in). It did about 6 complete washes with no errors, but now getting f6 again! But this time when program starts, the drain pump kicks in but does not stop then starts to fill but after a few seconds just comes up with f6, I have checked out all wiring back to pcb and connections on pcb, and diaphragm switch and flow sensor, suspect may be faulty pcb. Do have any other ideas? other than a big hammer?
