    The soap dispenser drawer has stopped opening during the wash in my Whirlpool generation 2000 plus

    There is a slew of G2P models. Would you check down the edge of the door and put up the the 12NC number beginning with 8, to allow correct identification.

    The problem is probably the release solenoid failing, so a new dispenser will be required.

    Hi
    The numerous jobs I have been out to with your fault has always resulted in the plug to the solenoid for the dispenser,having become detached.

    Unplug appliance before investigating :plug:
