    Had a job today where the oven Lamp holder had fallen out and shorted to earth. Re fitted but then found that the light and element are permantly on not the fan just the element. All timer functions seem ok so it seems that relay has welded due to the short would any one know which board I would need Power or controll I Bet its the dearer one. Thanks in advance

    My guess would be the power module WPL481221478306 £72.91 + VAT
    from Connect Distribution.Are there no signs on the board of damage from the short? I had a mouse shorted across the fan motor a couple of months ago but there was a part on the board burnt out.

    I will go and have another look at the cooker to see if there is any visable board damage.

    After last week I thought things could only get better and they did. Gave a couple of the relays on the power board a sharp tap and Job Done

    Very happy customer as I had told her the repair could have been in the region of £140
