    Just moved into a new house with a Whirlpool G2PDWI/1WH / 8542 347 15810 dishwasher.
Tried starting the machine and it seems to be attempting to pump out most of the time even with little or no water in it.
Tried putting some water in which is pumped out ok. It did start filling after that but stopped after 30 seconds or so and is now just bleeping .

I did have a look at some other posts to see if LED is flashing to give a code but its flashing continuously.
Does the same if I reset everything.

I do not have an instruction manual so I’m a bit lost.

    Any help appreciated.

Hi it sounds like the NTC has gone faulty. This is mentioned in numerous posts.
The p/no if you should need is 481228268035.
Power off if you plan on tackling this yourself or please feel free to use the link below to find an engineer. 🙂

    Thanks Greg.

Took the lower front panel off to get to NTC. Small amount of water in the bottom of the casing – 2 mm over small area.
Took the NTC out and checked on a meter.
Resistance seemed to be going down as I warmed it up so seemed ok. ( I realise this is a crude test )
Put NTC back in, dried things up, left it for a while and then tried starting it.
Started to fill and then could hear pumping water and spraybars going but 30secs later back to bleeping/flashing so turned it off.
Noticed then that more water in the base. ( yes the NTC is secure ! )

I have no idea of the history of this machine and I wonder whether its worth repairing. I just thought I could get a few months use out of it before ripping the old kitchen out.

If I still need to change the NTC and sort this leak out I’ll be tempted to replace the whole thing.
Any recomendations on whether to repair and if not whats a good replacement ?

    Thanks

    Hi
If its continuous flashing and no noticable pause, then its NTC,connection to PCB or at worst PCB. 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} it will be NTC and has to be worth changing rather than scrapping IMHO 😀
