Participanthi could someone please tell me what my problem could be, dishwasher been working fine no problems then all of a sudden stopped drying dishes eg no steam then next day tried again opened door mid way through wash and noticed water was cold just would like to know what it could be and if its worth and possable to repair thanks.

Hi
I would check the heater first of all as this heats the wash water and aslo the drying rinse water.
It is an inline instantaneous heater connected from the recirculation pump underneath.Un plug appliance if you are to investigate :plug:

Hi
You will need a multimeter set to the ohm setting and measure the heater resistence app 20-30 ohms, with appliance un plugged.

hi could you tell me where i need to put the meter rods to get a reading think i did it right but not sure the reading was about 25 if i did it right diy skills are good just not how to use a meter thanks wayne

Without sounding negative or rude but by your own admissions you are not sure where to put the meter rods and your meter skills aren’t good.
We can only safely guide you so far, the rest is down to the individuals ability 🙂

hi greg neighbour been round to look at it tested heater it is testing at 25ohms so what else could it be thanks p.s dont trust engineers that much no disrespect but been ripped off to many times so would rather buy new.
