Whirlpool generation 2000+ Dishwasher, G2P DWI

Hi

I have a Whirlpool generation 2000+ dishwasher, to the right hand side of the control panel are the letters, G2P DWI.

It was working ok as it is not much over a year old, however, I heard it beeping continuously the other day as it was finishing a cycle but stopped draining water. When i switch it on it just continues to beep and does nothing else, there is no pattern to the beeps they are just continuous.

I managed to syphon the water out through the waste hose (nice job) and it flowed freely.

Any advice as to what is wrong would be greatly appreciated

The most common fault with these is the temperature sensor but it wouldn’t beep continuously normally.

Engineer time in all honesty for a fault like this, check the repairs@ link below 🙂
