Greetings everyone…i”m a new user who has been surfing this great site for a while now and thought it was about time i registered…my issue is with the whirlpool generation 2000+ fan assisted oven…model g2p 62f wh..I think the serial number is..8541 838 15010..or..1401 45021973…when the oven or grill is turned on it will heat up for a little while then turns it self off showing “stop” on the display..I can hear the fan turning and feel the draught when the door is opened…the oven is seven years old now and as i have read in other posts never quite gets hot enough and extended cooking time is required…I have seen the various thermostat and sensor posts and parts available but wanted to be absolutely sure before i make any decision…thanks and look forward to be enlightened..cheers hj.

Hi all…just an update on my quest to rectify this oven issue…fitted new thermo sensor and bingo!!..oven back on line and cooking like a good one!!…the only issues i came across were if you take this job on have ready to hand some cable ties..i had to reuse the originals to tie in to the existing loom….not a problem..just fiddly…regards hj….ALWAYS DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE ANY WORK…SAFETY FOLKS!!
