    How do I test the heater element on my Whirlpool AWZ 121 tumble dryer.
    The drum rotates but gives out no heat.

    You already have confirmed the heater needs replacing, whenever that model stops heating it’s the element at fault every time. 🙁

    A new one can be purchased here and if you need a hand fitting it, then click on the link below for a local engineer. 😉

    Much appreciated. I’ll have to decide whether to fix it or get a new machine we’ve had it a while now.

    is the filter light on?

    There doesn’t appear to be a filter light on this model. There’s only the ‘ON ‘ light.
    I’ve cleaned out all the fluff and dust I can get to inside the machine and extractor.
