Whirlpool Hob AKM30/WH – spare parts needed

Hi,

I recently had an accident whilst cooking with the above hob. Basically 2 of the 4 hob rings don’t work anymore.

The problem is that 2 of the switches melted internally. The rest of the hob is completely fine. I have been searching for 2 new switch units but I can find them anywhere. I’m afraid that I will have to buy a whole new hob unit jsut because i can’t find 2 replacement switches!

Would anyone know where I could find new switch units for 2 of the hob rings?

Hi Ally,

If you drop a line to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk you should be able to get some joy from Jess or Dave (when he’s back on Wednesday) on the spares front. Fair warning though, Whirlpool spares aren’t cheap at the best of times and with their stores burning down the other week it appears that spares can suffer severe delays at the moment.

Dave may be able to suggest alternatives though.
