Hi
We have a Ikea dishwasher which is beeping and flashing. It appears to have nearly washed the dishes but the cycle isn’t finished. There appear to be 8 flashes and then a break.

Water level failure. Possible causes are badly blocked filters/spray arms. Excess foam from detergent can also cause it – this is especially true of multi-function tablets.

Cancel the existing programme and try running the rinse or quick programme without detergent, it may well clear the problem.

Thanks, I’ll try that.

This is the first time I’ve used the multi-tablets as I couldn’t get my normal cheap ones, so that could be something to do with it

Thanks – I have just ran it through a rinse wash and it’s completed successfully, so seems like a problem solved.
